Specialist international insurance broker, UIB, regularly takes on the major global broking houses iro specialist lines business. However in order to ‘look the part’ as well as deliver specialist solutions UIB needed to address the look of their brand, which had not been changed since the company was founded.

Solution

As UIB is a family owned business with rich traditions, Effective Image refined and modernised the existing logo to make it cleaner, sharper and more useable, yet no less distinctive. Different colours were used to differentiate the varying uses of the logo, which was then applied to new stationery such as letterheads and business cards – all designed by Effective Image.

Following the re-branding Effective Image was appointed as UIB's PR and Design partner with all work outsourced in a retainer basis.

Results

The revamped identity is being widely used across a variety of communications mediums – from the web and newsletters to events signage and stationery. UIB's profile has also been successfully raised via the media, worldwide.
