EJS Partners, as they were previously known, commenced operations in 2002 as a small, boutique executive search firm for the insurance industry. New clients were acquired through personal contacts of the three partners.

The ejs team had grown significantly since formation, however the brand and marketing approach did not keep pace. The business was not widely recognised in the insurance market and it was seen as a small player reliant on its founding partners.

With plans to expand significantly internationally and in London ejs needed a refreshed brand and a more strategic marketing approach to support their business development.

Solution

Effective Image conducted a Strategic Review to establish how ejs was perceived internally and externally. Then, working closely with the ejs team, we established clear objectives for the business and brand moving forward. Our work included:

 Re-branding including name change to ejsSearch
 New key messages, including strapline – ‘finding the best’
 Creating and implementing new marketing strategy
 New image library with original photography
 Upgraded ejs’ presentations
 New corporate brochure
 ‘finding the best’ events (art, fashion and twin)
 Extensive media coverage to raise ejs’ profile
 ejs advertising
 Sponsorship of Re-Moves section of the Review

The re-branding and strengthened marketing efforts to build the ejsSearch brand have already made a big impact at ejsSearch. The company now has a contemporary image, strong clear messages and a more strategic approach to their marketing.
